This short film produced by the Sacramento Bee and KFBK in 1958 gives a euro-centric perspective of the historic significance of Old Sacramento from the point of view of an architectural historian. The film shows buildings that no longer exist and really captures the essence of the district's historic significance. Produced by Sacramento Bee Editor Eleanor McClatchy, the film demonstrates the dedication and leadership the newspaper had for preserving the city's beginnings long before a national preservation movement began.
